Charles W. MacMurray Jr.

MacMurray, Charles W., Jr. of North Weymouth and Hingham, passed away peacefully the morning of January 6, 2021. Charles was born in Weymouth to the late Charles and Mary (McGarry) MacMurray. He grew up in North Weymouth and attended Weymouth High School where he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from Curry College where he played both Collegiate and Semi-Pro Football. Charles was the President and founder of ACM Services Inc. He was a loving family man who took great pride in everything he did. Charles greatly enjoyed spending time with his family on Cape Cod and in Florida.  He enjoyed spending much of his free time playing golf and tennis.

Beloved husband to the late Rita (Aucoin) MacMurray. Cherished father of Stacey MacMurray and her husband Josghoel Espinoza of Costa Rica, Gregory MacMurray of Chester Springs PA, Renee MacMurray of Hingham and Melissa Woodford and her husband Bryan of Middleborough. Proud “Mickey” of eight gorgeous grandchildren Christian McLoughlin, Cormac McLoughlin, Elizabeth MacMurray, Megan MacMurray, Cheyenne O’Ciardubhain, Saoirse O’Ciardubhain, Ronan O’Ciardubhain and Aiden Woodford. He was the loving brother of Marylou King of Weymouth, Patricia Bersani of Weymouth, Kathy Amonte of Hingham and the late Frances Giovanucci, Gail Coyle and Marjorie Murphy. He was also the proud uncle of 45 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, January 10, 2021, 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral mass will be held on Monday in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. A recording of the funeral services will be available the following day on the funeral home’s website.
