David P. Cooke

David P.  Cooke of Quincy, 51, died unexpectedly on September 3, 2018.  David was a lifelong resident of Quincy, MA and a loyal employee of Frito Lay since 1997.  He could fill any room he walked into with an amazing energy that can never again be replicated.  He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his bright blue eyes, his sense of humor, and his ability to forge a relationship with anyone he met David was well-traveled, having a particular love of island life, whether it be the Caribbean or Martha’s Vineyard, where he looked forward to vacationing every year. With a vast amount of interests, David could surprise anyone with the knowledge he held about any topic you could think of. He enjoyed all aspects of fitness, whether it be faithfully going to the gym every night or practicing yoga, he was passionate about staying in shape and being healthy. Not afraid to state his honest opinion about anything, David inspired everyone to be themselves without any reservations.  He was the ray of light that could make you forget about your bad day with a simple five minute conversation, and his spirit will live on within the many lives he touched.

The beloved son of the late William P. and Sandra M. (Smith) Cooke. Brother of Sandy Cooke of Weymouth, Wendy Paluzzi and her husband Tony of Plymouth, Susan Cooke and her fiance Lewis Fortin of Dunbarton, NH, and the late William J. Cooke and Linda Beth Rheaume. Brother in law of Charles Rheaume of Marshfield. Loving uncle and “very best friend in the whole world” of Jennifer Connolly and her husband Kevin of Carver. Uncle to Matthew Paluzzi, Brandon Paluzzi and Tara,  Gary Paluzzi and his wife Lynn and Tony Paluzzi and his wife Bethany. Great uncle of Payton Connolly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM.

Burial in Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
