Denise M. “Dee-Dee” Flemming

Flemming, Denise M. ” Dee-Dee” of Weymouth, passed away after a brief illness on April 17, 2021. Denise was born and raised in South Boston where she attended South Boston High School Class of 1974. Dee-Dee worked as a Bacteriology Lab Technician for 46 years at Boston Medical Center (a/k/a Boston City Hospital), where she had many friends who became family. She also worked as a bartender at Triple O’s bar in South Boston for 25+ years. Dee-Dee loved cruising the Caribbean, watching (and fiercely debating) football and was by far, the most generous, thoughtful, kind, and loyal woman you would ever meet.

Loving daughter of the late Rita J. Flemming of South Boston. Devoted sister and best friend of Debra A. Flemming (Debbie) and Debbie’s late husband, Gerard “Sean” Morgan, of Weymouth. Lifelong devoted friend of Jean Champagne-Sullivan of South Boston; Tricia and Bob Brooks of Wakefield, Maureen Cleary of South Boston; special Aunt to Lyndsay Scanlon and loyal friend to Suzanne Scanlon of Dedham. Dee-Dee is also survived by her two beloved fur babies, Petey and Toby.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 7 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. A burial will be held at a later date.
