Mr. Douglas M. Prescott, of Weymouth, passed away on July 4, 2021

Born in Boston, Doug graduated from Weymouth High School. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, yard work, cooking, dancing, loved dogs, and enjoyed watching TV Land.

Loving father of Michael D. Prescott and his wife, Emily, of S. Carolina, Jennifer A. Waterman of Halifax, Gina M. “Mushie” Prescott of Pembroke, their mother, Barbara Prescott of Halifax and his son in law, Jay Waterman of Plymouth. Son of the late William and Agnes Prescott. Brother of Donna MacDonald and her husband, Denny, of Abington, and the late Lucille ‘Chi Chi” Dolan and Ann Buckley. Uncle of Kerrianne McGrath-Houghton and her husband, Jack, of Abington. Dear friend of Mary King of Hanson. Doug is survived by his many fur grand babies. Also survived by many other siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on  Friday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
