Edward L. Sherlock, of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, died June 10, 2021. Eddie was a longtime friend of Bill W. and in his later years willingly shared his experiences of strength and hope with others in the fellowship. Despite medical and physical challenges, Eddie adapted and continued to give service and provide for others by the power of example.

Eddie’s artistic talents shined through in his woodworking, carving, boat building and painting. As a young history enthusiast, Eddie began a lifelong interest in the local history of Hull, where his family enjoyed summers in the Green Hill area.

Beloved brother of Teresa Pike of Hanover, Jane F. Sherlock of Canada, Rena Cannata of Weymouth and the late Sr. Maryann Sherlock SC. Loving uncle of Shawn Bennett, Nicole Azer Erin Pike Hourahan, Andrea Vincerilli and Andrew Cannata. Great-uncle of Ryan and Jordan Bennett, Zoe and Zandra Azer. Great-great-uncle of Cora Hourahan and Elena Vincerelli. Eddie will always be missed, but the memories shared of his intelligence, love for the ocean and kind spirit offer great consolation.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, August 13th from 5-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church part of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 208 Samoset Avenue Hull, MA at 11 AM  (781-383-0219).
