Coburn, Eleanor A. “Buttons” (Gilbert) of Whitman, died December 12, 2017.

Buttons was born in Quincy and grew up in Weymouth. She attended Weymouth South High and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved to cook, was a fan of shark movies and spending time with her family. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her will miss her fun and outgoing personality.

Beloved mother of Jennifer O’ Callaghan of Weymouth, Johnny Coburn of Brockton and the late Terrence O’ Callaghan. Loving daughter of Eleanor (Trottier) Faucher and the late William A. Faucher and John R. Gilbert. Dear sister of Corine Jewett of Whitman. Grandmother of Jordan, Natalya and Cianna O’ Callaghan and Cody Demoura. Niece of Claudette Beiners of Foxboro and Elva McGarry of Brockton. Aunt of Chauntel and Evan Jewett of Whitman. Former wife of John Coburn and Terrence O’ Callaghan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
