O’Donnell, Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Callow) of Quincy, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 8, 2015. 

 

Betty grew up in Mattapan and graduated from Hyde Park High School. She was a homemaker for many years before her career with John Hancock Insurance where she worked for over 20 years.  Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.  The foundation of her life was her family, they were all that was truly important to her.  Betty will be sadly missed. 

 

Beloved wife of the late Richard F. O’Donnell. Loving mother of Robyn E. O’Donnell of Quincy, Shannon M. Banks and her husband Thomas of Milford, Janice M. Knight and her husband Scott of Santa Monica, CA, Joyce A. O’Donnell and her husband Michael of Quincy, John M. O’Donnell (QPD) of Quincy and the late Richard F. O’Donnell, Jr..  Mother-in-Law of Bernadine O’Donnell of Milton.  Devoted Grandma of Kayleigh, Jacquelyn and Lindsey Banks, Elizabeth and PFC Michael O’Donnell (U.S Army), Katie and Brendan O’Donnell and April and Leo Knight.  Sister of Janet O’Connor of NY and the late Edward, Clara, Dorothy and Jean. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
