George Campbell of Dorchester passed away, surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  He was 88.

He was born in Primrose, Prince Edward Island, Canada to the late Mary (MacIntyre) and Allan Campbell.  After graduating high school, George immigrated to the United States at 20 years old.  He was a union carpenter by trade and worked at the Prudential Center and Gillette.

George is predeceased by his devoted wife, Gertrude (Lucas), and his siblings Florence McNeil and Gerald Cambell.  Beloved father of Judy Kodzis and her husband Joe of Marshfield , Stephen Campbell of Dorchester, George Campbell of Dorchester, Maryann Moreno and her husband John of Haverhill, Kevin  Campbell of Dorchester, Wayne Campbell and his wife Roseanne of Winthrop.  Loving brother to Michael Campbell and his wife Karen of PEI, CAN, and Agnes  Doyle and her husband Roy of PEI, CAN. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, July 21, from 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 22 at 10 AM in St. Martin de Porres Parish, St. Ann’s Church. Cremation will follow services. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
