Helen E. “Beth” Quirk

Helen E. “Beth” Quirk of Peabody, a retired government analyst, died at the Kindred Hospital – Boston, North Shore in Peabody on April 24, 2010. She was 77. Born in Peabody, Beth was a lifelong resident of the city. In fact she and her Kerry blue terrier, Seamus lived in the home she grew up in. She attended local schools and graduated from Boston University in 1954 with a degree in mathematics. She worked for the federal government for over 40 years serving in various agencies including the Department of the Navy, NASA, the Air Force, the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Defense. She retired in 2008 as a Management/Program Analyst with the Department of Defense. Beth was the beloved daughter of the late Michael Edward and Helen (McElroy) Quirk. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church 17 Chestnut St. Peabody on Friday, May 14 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Danvers.
