Norman R. LaPlume, of Braintree, died December 4, 2020.

Norman worked for the MBTA for 30 years before retiring. He was a handy man and could often be found puttering in his yard. He was a kind and quiet man who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  

Beloved husband of 64 years to Marjorie (Coates) LaPlume of Braintree. Devoted father of Norman R. LaPlume, Jr. and his wife Gretchen of Hingham, Donna Storer and her husband Jack of Marshfield, Ronald LaPlume and his wife Mary of Braintree and Yvonne White of Plymouth. Cherished Papa of 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild. Loving brother of Jeanne Silva of Quincy, Kathy Pearson of Weymouth and the late Mary, Alan, Phillip, John, Ronald, Kenneth and Claire. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday at 11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). 

Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12 PM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
