Richard M. “Dick” Moody, of Weymouth, died July 9, 2021. Dick proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era and went on to serve the Weymouth community as a police officer for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Lions Club. Dick was a talented artist, a vivid storyteller and avid writer. He will be deeply missed.   

Beloved husband of 18 years to Linda (Yee) Moody of Weymouth. Devoted step-father of Mark Yee of TX, Mathew Jacobson and his wife Rachel of SC and Martin Jacobson of PA. Son of the late George and Evelyn Moody. Loving brother of George Moody and his wife Sue of Plymouth. Dear friend of Richard Fairbairn and his wife Edna of East Bridgewater. Also survived by extended family, in-laws and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 10am-12pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
