Watkins, Rita M,(St. Pierre), age 98, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Maine, Rita resided in North Weymouth for over 70 years, where she raised her 9 children with her late husband, Leslie. Rita’s greatest joy was her family. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.
Beloved wife of the late Leslie G. Watkins. Devoted mother of Alfred J. Watkins and his wife Maureen of Weymouth, Kenneth W. Watkins and his wife Michele of New Mexico, William J. Watkins and his companion Bonnie Payette of New Hampshire, Janet M. Yanovich and her husband Jay of FL, Sandra A. Hogan and her husband Kenneth of Weymouth, Linda M. Welch and her husband Thomas of Weymouth, James P. Watkins of Quincy, Susan M. Pendleton and her husband Thomas of Rockland and the late Les Watkins of Texas. Cherished Grandma of 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
