Robert F. “Bob” Finnigan age 64 of Mt. Juliet TN, formerly of Northbridge and Dorchester Ma, passed away on July 1st after a hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Bob was born in Savin Hill and graduated from Don Bosco Technical HS later earning his MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Bob worked at Northrop Precision Products Division in Norwood where he met his future wife Lillian (Shephard). Bob and Lillian had two children, Tyler (Shianne) grandson Roman, Joint Base Lewis McChord WA, and Daniel (Janrich) of Mt Juliet TN.

Bob finished his managerial career after over 20 years at EMC Corp, retiring to Tennessee. He enjoyed spending time with close friends, traveling to Aruba and was an avid marathon runner, having finished 3 Boston Marathons as a member of the L St running club. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Mumford Co #365.

The loving son of the late William and Jean (Powers) Finnigan, he leaves behind his siblings Jean Sullivan (Jack) of Hanover, William (Jeanne) of Rockland, James (Ann Marie) of Milton and Patrick (Malene) of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, July 11, from 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, July 12 at 10:30 AM at St. Agatha’s Church, Milton. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
