 Ellis, Robert L., Sr. of Weymouth, died February 2, 2021. Robert was born in Audrain County, Missouri to the late Arthur and Essie Ellis. He graduated high school and also served honorably in the United States Navy. Robert worked for many years at the Robert C. Lavin Corporation in South Boston as a Sheet Metal Worker. He grew up working on a farm and enjoyed working in the driveway on his International Scout and small engines for neighbors and friends. Robert also loved to read and spend time with his family. 

Loving father of Robert L. Ellis Jr. and his wife Diane of Weymouth and daughter Joanne Newman of Brockton. Proud Grandpa, love of his life and best friend to his beloved granddaughter Samantha. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Sandra and Samuel Ellis and former wife Marion J. Ellis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 10-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
