William P. Richmond

William P. Richmond of Weymouth, formerly of Allston, died April 5, 2021 at the age of 88.

William proudly served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for many years. After retiring, William volunteered at South Shore Friends of the Homeless. He was a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church in Allston, where he served as a deacon, and later attended South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene. William loved fishing, gardening, attending Boston Pops concerts and meals at Stars on Hingham Harbor.

Former husband of the late Patricia A. (Copper) Richmond. Loving father of Karen E. Kwolek of CT; Robin R. Richmond of Pembroke; Jennifer A. Rutherford and her former husband Robert of Weymouth; Deborah A. Richmond of Weymouth; and Sarah Kalemkeridis and husband James of Pembroke. Brother of Emery Richmond of ME and Lou Duffield of Manchester, NH. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene at 385 Ralph Talbot Street.  Burial with military honors will be on Tuesday at 1:15 PM in the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
