Ryan was an absolute gentleman. It was such a pleasure to see him every morning with his bright and cherry smile. He was always happy and made everybody happy around him. He was a pheromonal worker and team player. Ryan will dearly be missed by all at the VA Boston. Orla

My deepest condolences to Ryan’s family. My heart is broken that he’s gone. He was a wonderful friend and a great man. I’ll never forget the 1st day we met in College we were friends right off the bat. He will be sorely missed by many. I literally tell stories about him and I on a regular and I will continue to. Loved him dearly. Guy could always make me laugh. Was the brother I never had but always wanted.

Ryan was a great person, caring, likes to to joke around and laugh, and smile. He loved to cook and share his cooking recipes with me, we used to joke and he'd tell me< Scott you'd probably mess it all up, he's also say you don't know how to do it that way, we would always share different cooking terminologies, and I'd tell him about my church, and show him pictures of me playing, he'd say to me jokingly "you suck at it", we'd also talk about sports, Ryan was a great worker also, He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace My Brother. May God hold you in his precious hands.

Ryan was someone I didn’t see very often, but when I did run into him, he felt like an old friend. A very thoughtful man who remembered small details from your life and checked in with everyone in his phone contact list every holiday, special event and milestone. It was always a great time catching up with him and watching him giggle at the shenanigans of his buddies around him. He will be missed. Ryan proof that one person can make a difference by being kind and I hope that his loved ones can find peace during this difficult time.

Ryan and I became friends growing up in Weymouth and quickly discovered that we shared the same birthday (2/22). I moved to California more than 7 years ago, and even though we had only seen each other maybe once or twice since then, I would always receive a text from him on our birthday. Every. Single. Year. Without fail, he'd send his birthday wishes and I would send them right back. It seems like a such a small and insignificant thing, but that meant a lot to me, and I think it's a great example of just how genuinely kind Ryan was. He was such a great person and I know his positive energy impacted all of those around him, even from 3000 miles away. To Donna, Richie, the whole Rosado family, and all of our friends, I send my love and deepest condolences.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your son, brother and friend was a kind and caring soul that will be missed. I worked in the recovery room and every time I would transfer a veteran he would run ahead and get the elevator He always greeted the veterans with a smile and hello. I just always respected that about him. Please know he was very respected and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Rest in peace brother. You are missed but wont be forgotten. I wish we had a chance to get to go fishing and shoot the breeze about anything and everything. I hope you're catching some nice stripers up in Heaven. God Bless. Ryan was a special co worker and friend. We are all blessed for the time we got to spend getting to know him and experience his kindness. What a wonderful soul.

To the Rosado Family, How can I express my deepest sympathies for such a tragedy and loss?! Ryan was my best friend! My name is Frankie and I had the privilege of calling Ryan, my friend! Ryan and I became best friends the moment we met! We had so much fun together and he was one of the funniest people I have ever met! Ryan had the best laugh and smile, so genuine and real with a, “devilish”, humor to it! You knew when he was cooking something up in that brain of his and when it came out, it would be the funniest prank or saying you could imagine! I freaking loved that kid!!! Ryan and I were tight, we always would be at each others throats, like brothers, because I was from Jersey, Italian and the worst part of all, a Yankees and Giants fan! 😁 Ryan was the kindest, sweetest, most gentle, honest, loyal and trustworthy person I have ever met! He did right by everyone and especially, Me! If there was something I couldn’t tell a soul on this earth, I could tell Ryan, without judgement and I know it would stay with him! He was a class act! A true gentleman, a great friend! We had some wild and crazy times in college together with our circle of friends! The best memories was sitting in my apartment, drinking beers, playing cards, watching The Sopranos, or sports! Ryan was a magnet with people, a little shy and reserved at first, BUT, when he let you in, WATCH OUT! He was so much fun and down to earth, the perfect example of a, “good brother”! Ryan loved talking about his family, friends and Boston! I would tell him about the streets of Jersey and New York City and we would share stories of his upbringing and Boston. All of which, wound up being the same in culture, beliefs and character! Ryan equals, INTEGRITY! Ryan was all based around, honor, loyalty, friendship, morals, values and respect! Ryan was true blue! In college I would tease Ryan about having a secret man crush on Ricky Martin and always told him that I would pull a prank on him and he would wake, one day, with a real life size cardboard cut out of him in his dorm room! I never did it, I really wish today, I have! Lol.. What a devastating loss this is for me and I can’t imagine for his family! My deepest condolences to the Rosado family! I am here for all of you if you need anything or want to talk! You are all my family as well even though we haven’t met in person! It’s what Ryan would have wanted!! Ryan was the best kind of friend and person this world could have and we are all better for having him in our lives! I love and miss you Ry Ry!! Rest In Peace my brother! You and your family are in my prayers, hope and strength, EVERYDAY! Love always, Frankie B

Rest In Peace! As a VA Employee as well, I had the opportunity to occasionally see Ryan in the Hall and although he may not of known my name, he was always quick to say Hi in passing! I gather by his workmanship that Ryan had an eye for detail and order. Can't say that I've ever seen the end results of one effort for providing those always need Scrubs in such a neat and meticulous cart of Scrubs. I have no doubt that this workmanship was displayed in other aspect of Ryan's life! Ryan, thank you for your support for Veterans like myself and many others throughout the Hospital

I don’t know if it’s possible to find the right words that convey how special Ryan was. He was genuinely nice to everyone. It was a type of kindness that made us all feel lucky to know Ryan. In every conversation, there was true interest in mine or anyone’s wellbeing. Ryan was a gentleman in every sense. He lit up when he talked about clearing snow for his mom or helping a neighbor. I can’t imagine the loss his family and close loved ones feel. As a mere co-worker, Ryan still managed to treat myself & other staff like family. The loss of his life is leaving a void that won’t be replaced because he was a one-of-a-kind beautiful spirit. I pray that his family finds some comfort in knowing how many people were blessed with his gift of caring. His smile was joyful and he was always infectiously pleasant. Each day that I saw Ryan, I felt lucky.

I am truly heartbroken to hear of Ryan's passing. He was a genuine individual that always went the extra mile. He was so gentle and caring to all. I will always have the utmost respect for him. He was such an asset to the VA especially the OR. I would arrive at work at 4 am and soon after that, he would stroll in with a smile on his face. I am truly sorry for Rosado's family and their loss. I will never forget him.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ryan's passing. It hurts to even write this. I am anesthesiologist at the VA in West Roxbury and seeing Ryan outside the OR locker room each morning taking pride in folding and sorting the scrubs was a great way to start each day. He had a joy and energy about him that was unusual. If he saw me coming, he would spring across the hall and open the door for me and greet me. He was always willing to help with whatever we needed and did everything with a spring in his step. That kind of effort ends up having a positive impact on patient care because we are all one big team focused on providing the best care possible for our nation's veterans, and every role group plays a part. One time I saw Ryan carrying a big box of little girls toys and I asked him if he, like me, had a daughter at home. He said no, these were for his friend's daughter's birthday. So generous and caring. What a guy. I'm so sorry, Rosado family, for your loss. Calling on the name of Jesus can provide comfort in times of loss and grief. Ryan is dearly missed around here and we remember him most fondly.

I worked with Ryan for several years. My mornings didn't start without seeing him and talking about our latest TV series. I loved being able to turn to him to ask how Breaking Bad ended when I had lost interest. He gave me a hard time, but he told me the episodes that were worth watching. As mentioned, he was passionate about cooking and he even gave me a recipe for my Super Bowl party, which will now be known as Ryan's recipe in my house. He was a true gentleman and I'm going to miss him terribly. To the Rosado family, I am truly sorry for your loss.
