I am sorry that I can’t come and properly pay my respects to a man that I respected and admired. Mr Trott was the first person to introduce me to welding and he had a very positive impact on my life. He was one of those teacher that all the kids liked. I graduated from the Quincy Vo-Tech and have made my living as a union plumber and Pipefitter, in no small part, due to instructors like Bobby Trott. I hope he realized the positive impact he had on hundreds of kids that went thru his shop. Rest In Peace my friend and Thank you for sharing what you had learned. Danny Wahlberg Class of 1987

Peggy and family, I knew your Dad when we were colleagues at Quincy Technical School, from the mid 80’s until he retired. I will remember always his smiling eyes. He had a way of reaching and teaching students, including those with learning and life challenges. My heart goes out to you in your loss.

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. Know that myself and my classmates are there with you today. I was involved in the first elec-mech class put together, and had such a great experience I also took welding my senior year and was in his shop most all of the day. My most favorite memory was his idea of a field trip. He threw together the quickly planed trip to explore the ships at Battle Ship Cove. Five of us piled in his car and off we went. Pretty sure we were all spoken to about it. But what a fun day we had. God bless you all. We will surely miss Trot!

Joanne, It was so great to get to know your father way back in our high school years. I always found him welcoming, engaging and someone who cared about his children immensely. Sincere condolences on your loved ones passing. I had the pleasure to work with Bob from 1993 to 2006 at Quincy High School. He started my day each morning with funny saying, a joke or some really of the wall comment that would make my day. He was a great member of our Electro-mechanical team at "The Tech" and was a mentor to me. Always ready to help in any way possible. My name for him was "Trout" ( a little take-off from his fishing stories) He made teaching fun and fruitful. Love you Trout.

I will always remember Mr.Trott He was alway fun even if he was a little mad at me as I was probable a difficult student ?

Mike and I felt like honorary members of the Trott Family as we enjoyed many family parties in Hanson by the pool. Bob was always a terrific guy to be around and the center of the family. Our love to the whole Trott clan.

I remember meeting your Dad when we were working at Lowe’s; I couldn’t get over how much you looked alike!! He seemed to me like a very happy confident man. God Bless and hold him tightly in his arms.

Papa was a grandfather to all who knew him. Despite our complicated family situation I spent quite a bit of time with him through the years and it was a privilege to know and love him.
