Condolences to the Family of Claire I. Morrissey

I will never forget Claire carrying the American Flag on her shoulder while St. Kevin's Emerald Knights played Stars & Stripes Forever during the Presentation. So proud!

Claire was the best woman Mom friend I have ever known and I was fortunate to have known her for 24 yrs . She took my son Shawn in for 2 yrs and welcomed me into her home family and life ever since . I'm sorry I wasted yrs of distance yet grateful for Sarah giving me a chance to see and talk to her via video before Thanksgiving . It's going to be so hard to say goodbye today .

Claire was the one to tell the nieces and nephews great juicey stories about her siblings that the siblings seemed to “forget” to tell us. She meant so much to our family, that was a great woman and will always be remembered such. Our deepest sympathies to Joe, Nick, Sara, & their families.

I don't even know where to start, first an foremost I will miss her forever. Spending time with her throughout my life was the best. Auntie Claire was not only a favorite Aunt (which she wouldn't let you forget) but a best friend my entire life. She was always there for me and my family. She would always come to a family get together with a bag full of goodies (toys, crafts, fun stuff) for the kids. I miss you and will until we meet again, God bless! Joe, Nick, Sarah and families my heart is breaking for you, she was still too young!

Claire was really one of the most honest, sincere people I have known. We always enjoyed seeing & talking with her at all the Dalton cookouts! More recently I enjoyed bowling with her...she always had a good story to share ....she will be missed. Bob & Jane Wright

After meeting Joe, Claire became such a big part of my life and I was so lucky to be able to see and interact with her as often as I did. I will miss her straightforward, sage and usually correct advice that was delivered with a no-nonsense style! She had such a wonderful way about her that always made you feel welcome and comfortable. It seemed no matter what “ingenious” idea Joe and I concocted, she would be on board and sometimes even encouraging. Paint the attic Kelley green, no problem, host a party with 15-20 teenagers sleeping over, no problem, tell my parents I’m sleeping over but really we’re going to the midnight screening of Little Shop of Horrors, no problem! She was truly a joy to be around and she will be missed dearly.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Dalton family. We always enjoyed seeing Claire over the years at family get togethers. She was a generous and caring person with a wonderful laugh. We hope you are consoled by the wonderful memories of having her in your lives.

My Deepest sympathy to all the family and friends. Aunt Claire was a wonderful woman. I always felt like every time we saw her at a cook out or party that she was right at home. Even though I did not get to see her much, I love her very much. May she rest in peace.

Claire was always the coolest aunt. I remember staying with her many times as a kid. Sneaking late night tv shows on her tiny black and white bedside tv. She was always a very powerful female influence in my childhood. Always there with a kind word followed by a funny joke or kick in the ass. Whichever you needed at the time. I will forever miss you!
