Dave & Sandra KelleyThank you Ed for all the laughs over the years at New Beginnings. You always brought your best all the time. May God be with you always. Bob and I will miss you... Sandra Shaw and Bob Needle
Sandra and BobMy dad was very upset to hear the news of Ed's passing. My mom and dad met Ed at the Rockland Senior Center. Dad also spent time with Ed in the Men's Group there. He was the guy who always smiled and had a positive view on life. They looked forward to seeing him all dressed up in costume depending on the holiday. From hearing some of Dads stories it sounds like he held a special place in their hearts. I guess mom always used to plant a kiss on his head when she saw him. His presence made them happy. To Linda and family, Please accept our deepest condolences. Ed will be missed dearly. We know that my mom will take good care of him. Like she did for all of us here on Earth.
LisaWe are so incredibly saddened to learn of Ed’s passing. Ed brought so much joy to my parents in recent years as my father and Ed became fast friends through the Rockland Men’s Club. Ed had a sparkle and always knew how to make everyone around him feel special. Whenever our paths crossed, he expressed genuine interest in my life, asking thoughtful questions and remembering the details of previous conversations. Ed even volunteered for several of my wellness initiatives at the Rockland Senior Center including a yoga class and a research project where he had to eat a bunch of green veggies - activities he probably wasn’t crazy about, haha, but was so generous in his enthusiasm and support. Ed was also warmly welcoming to my husband when we were first newlyweds, always initiating conversation so my husband felt comfortable in his new surroundings. And of course, Ed always, always, made everyone around him laugh. In my own family, we were just getting used to having him around all the time, and we really, really liked it. Our hearts go out to his family as his passing has undoubtedly left an incredible void in your lives. His loss is sorely felt by many. With love, Maribeth & Greg D’Ercole
Maribeth D’ErcoleLots of great times with Ed You will be so missed Some great stories will no longer have the same punch cuz you wont be there to share them You had the rare gift that everybody you knew thought of you as a close friend

Eric and and Mary WaughDear Ed Malone, we are very saddened to hear of your untimely passing. Nancy and George Palhete knew you as a friend and a man of his word. Although we were not really close, just knowing you made life so much fuller for us. Please, rest in peace and every once in a while you may give us a wave and a little prayer would also help. Until we meet again be yourself I am sure to find you as I knew you.
George & Nancy PalheteEd !!!!!!! What a character he was larger then life and loved to laugh and make jokes some of them dirty too! I write this with a heavy heart knowing I won’t see your face and hear that chuckle but I know you are laughing at us in a better place . Well we like to think so anyways!!
