Dear George, On behalf of all your friends and colleagues associated with the US Arctic Research Commission, and from me, personally, we write to send you our deepest condolences on Peggy's passing. May her memory be a blessing for you and your family. Peggy was a kind and generous woman, easy to laugh, and big hearted. We are all so sorry for your loss, and we hope you are well.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Peggy and wish to send our sincerest condolences to George and James. We remember Peggy very fondly and always enjoyed our friendship over many years - mainly her warmth and devotion to family and community. We shared many times together involved in our children's mutual schools and activities and as neighbors and fellow church members. We pray for the entire Newton family as we honor her.
