Condolences

Condolences to the Family of Thomas J. McManus, Jr.

2021

I was shocked at hearing of the “Gunnies” passing! I was a brother lettercarrier, working with Tom at the “Wolly” post office for over 20 years. I was familiar with his work at Keohane’s where he directed my aunt Josies funeral in 2004. He was always an image of great fitness and energy. Eternal rest Tom and my deepest condolences for his family.

Sorry to hear of Tom’s passing, we never worked together at the PO but I would see him at the funeral home quite often. Nice guy and a gentleman.

I had the pleasure of serving Tom and his gang at the Mug/Newcomb's for many years, you could set your watch by him, he loved his grilled corn muffin and black coffee. I also would frequently see Tom at Keohane's and he was always so warm and engaging, the last time I saw him was his last night of working and he was taking some time off to spend with family. I will miss seeing Tom as he was always so accommodating and comforting at our time of need. May your memories sustain you through the difficult days ahead.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at Keohane, and I always looked forward to his stalwart attention to detail, his command for process and his many great stories. He was well known and well respected and no doubt will be missed by many. Thank you for the pleasure, Tom. Rest gently.
