Condolences to the Family of Eileen F. Devonshire

2021

I was very sorry to learn recently of Eileen's passing. I was one of the many agents she mentored at DIS, back in the 1980s. She taught us well. Please accept my sympathies and know the Devonshire family will be in my prayers.

I first met Eileen in the mid 80's when we were co-workers in the Boston Field Office. She was very knowledgeable and a person I leaned on for advice on several occasions. Our friendship only blossomed over the years and continued right up until her passing. Her laugh will be something I will always remember. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace Eileen, as you truly deserve it.

Eileen and I began working together at the Boston Field Office in the early 1980s. She was a tough lady who really cared about the Agents assigned to her office. She was also very funny and we shared many, many laughs over the years. Rest in peace Eileen, you deserve it.

I remember going to the Boston Field office to provide tech support for computers and stepping into Eileen's office and hearing the sound of her laugh. She was the best way to start the day. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

When Eileen told me she had a similar job as the fiction character “Gibbs” on the TV show NCIS! I nicknamed her “Gibbette”! She was a good neighbor and friend. We had many dinners together and we never had to worry about what we were serving....as far as she was concerned “Everything tasted Good!” We talked often about her family and how much she loved you all! My Gibbette will be truly missed! Her neighbors George and Barbara Perkins 72 Liberty Circle

Eileen was a wonderful friend and co worker. Her laugh was infectious. She was my mentor when I became a special agent in charge. She always spoke loving of all her family. I loved to travel with her. She was planning to come to Arizona at the end of June for our “girls trip”. Instead the four of girls will have a drink in her memory. We will remember all the good times in Las Vegas and work laughs. I was truly blessed to call her my friend, e
